SEC NEWS: SEC vide its directive no. SEC/CMRRCD/2001-43/17 dated February 08, 2010 has directed the Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited. to discontinue, until further order, the financial adjustment facilities (i.e. netting facilities) provided by the stock-brokers to their customers vis-à-vis by the stock exchanges to their stock-brokers and stock-dealers in respect of trading in share of Grameenphone Ltd. This means no person shall be allowed to buy share of Grameenphone Ltd. against value of sale of other securities (i.e. by using Fund in Transit) within the existing settlement and clearance period. This Directive shall become effective from the trading day of 10th February 2010.
